Privacy Policy
Make Reality LLC operates makereality.io. This policy covers our website, marketing tools, inquiries, and The Manifest newsletter. Client engagements may have separate privacy terms. Contact us at hey@makereality.io.
Information and uses
- Inquiries and tool follow-ups: name, work email, company name and website, message, and submitted tool answers, results, scores, and recommended next steps. We use these to respond, understand your needs, and prepare recommendations. Do not submit passwords, sensitive personal information, or information you are not authorized to share.
- Newsletter: email, subscription status, and any supplied referral or campaign information. We use these to send The Manifest, manage preferences, reconcile provider responses, and prevent duplicate or unwanted enrollment. A tool follow-up is not a newsletter subscription; enrollment is separate.
- Technical and processing records: IP address, browser/device information, request activity, submission identifiers, and processing/notification status. Tool follow-ups can include page and referrer URLs, browser user-agent, and campaign parameters such as UTM source, medium, and campaign. We use these to deliver and secure the site, operate tools, process requests, notify our team, understand referrals, and address legal obligations, misuse, or disputes. Optional analytics, when enabled in line with your choices and regional settings, measure website use to improve content and services.
Providers and sharing
Our providers include:
- Vercel: hosting, request handling, and platform security.
- Neon/PostgreSQL: submitted tool-lead information, newsletter request records, and processing status.
- Slack: internal tool-lead notifications, which can include tool name, name, email, company name, score, recommended next step, and submission reference.
- Beehiiv: newsletter subscriptions, status, delivery, and limited campaign/referral information where supplied.
- Sanity: website content management and delivery, not our tool-lead database.
Information processed depends on the provider and your interaction. We may also disclose information as required by law, to respond to lawful requests, protect rights and security, to professional advisers, or in connection with a business transfer, subject to applicable law.
Privacy choices and external services
Our own website consent control saves your analytics choice in browser local storage for 180 days. Essential technologies support delivery, security, and remembering this choice. Basic analytics may be on by default in the United States where permitted; elsewhere it stays off until you accept. We honor rejection and Global Privacy Control. Unknown locations do not receive a regional default. You can reject analytics or withdraw your choice through Cookie settings; withdrawal does not undo earlier processing.
Google Analytics 4 is configured but remains off in this local candidate. When enabled, it measures website use through controlled page views and limited interaction events; submitted form contents and URL queries are excluded. Google signals, user-provided data collection, automatic detection, and optional enhanced-measurement events, including history and form events, are disabled. The enhanced-measurement master setting remains on; automatic base page views are suppressed by the site configuration. The provider settings retain event data for two months and user data for fourteen months, with user retention reset on new activity.
Linked or embedded services, such as Google Calendar scheduling, may receive technical information and information you submit directly. Their privacy notices explain their processing. Our analytics setting does not control all third-party processing or cookies on other websites; this notice does not represent all embeds as consent-gated. Browser cookie controls may also affect features.
Unsubscribe from The Manifest using a newsletter's unsubscribe link or hey@makereality.io. We may retain an unsubscribe record to honor your choice. Unsubscribing does not prevent replies to separate inquiries or communications needed for an existing engagement.
Retention, security, and international processing
Retention depends on the purpose, request or relationship status, legal requirements, security needs, and honoring preferences. Provider systems, logs, and backups may follow different retention processes. Contact us about retention or deletion. We use technical and organizational safeguards; no transmission or storage system is completely secure.
Providers may process information outside your country, where privacy laws may differ. Applicable transfer requirements depend on the information, provider arrangement, and relevant law.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; or complain to a relevant data protection authority. Conditions and exceptions apply. Email hey@makereality.io with your request. We may verify your identity or authority; do not send identity documents unless we request an appropriate verification method.
Our site and services are for business users, not children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.
We will identify revisions on this page and provide additional notice where applicable law requires it.
